AfterShock Fam · at the desk
Our ensemble of visionaries is the backbone of AfterShock. The symphony of our operations is further enriched by the dedicated efforts of our educators, coordinators, and advisors, each playing a pivotal role in nurturing the next generation of artists.
Founder & Executive Director
Louis Piotti, MBA, founded AfterShock Fam and leads its programs and partnerships. He spent three years as Director of Business Development & Grants Officer for Sober AF Entertainment, where he helped secure over $1M in workforce funding to train and employ peer-support specialists across seven counties. CreativePHL Business On Board certified (2021).
Board Member & Music Director
Bernard Parker ("B Smithsonian") directs the Maverick Teen Center for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware and sits on the AfterShock Fam board. A composer and producer since 2003 with 40+ projects, he produced the Villanova Wildcats theme played at the Wells Fargo Center and runs the Maverick Music Program for ages 13–18.
Lead Curriculum & Engineering
Elliot Mangini ("Big Sister") is the lead author of the technical curriculum — a professional audio engineer, software developer, and high-end DIY sound-system designer. A touring trombonist with roots in the Jamaican and UK sound-system tradition, he bridges that heritage with modern engineering.
Live Audio Specialist
Remy Poulin is a live-audio specialist and IATSE Local 8 member with 4+ years in venue operations, technical production, and A/V. A Drexel Live Audio intern, Remy helps bridge youth participants to the union production floor.
Mentor & Founding Contributor
Gio Galvez is a mentor and founding contributor whose donated sound system launched the AfterShock model — the first step from creative-arts workshops toward hands-on STEM and live-production training.
Everyone on the mix
Through our unique blend of creative arts programs, hands-on workshops, and mentorship, we’ve created a thriving family of artists who aspire to more than just musical success. They are changemakers, visionaries, and leaders in their communities.
Channel labels (Founder, Board, Curriculum, Live, Mentor) are the desk’s shorthand for each role.
